New Instructional Resources Landing in Teachers' Hands This Week
CCSD teachers across the district are receiving their sets of instructional resources for K-12 English language arts and math! As promised, teachers will have their resources and initial training before leaving for a well-earned summer break.
These new resources were selected based on teacher and parent feedback and purchased thanks to our School Board’s investment in putting more funds closest to the classroom. The textbooks, workbooks and digital resources will give our teachers and students an even stronger toolbox for improving student achievement in our mission to be the highest performing school district in Georgia.
Superintendent of Schools Mary Elizabeth Davis and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Josh Heath stopped in at several schools to see how the distribution was going and to get some initial feedback from teachers.
Student materials will be arriving at schools over the summer, ready for use in August! #ElevateTheExcellence
