CCSD Students Named to All-State Chorus Programs

Fifty-five Cherokee County School District high school and middle school students earned seats in the prestigious Georgia Music Educators Association All-State Chorus programs! 

Congratulations to the students and their teacher directors and thank you to our School Board for its investment in performing arts programs to support our students in learning more, growing more and achieving more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else.

Students from Georgia middle and high schools statewide audition for these selective performance opportunities.  This year’s All-State Chorus event will be held Feb. 19–21 at the Classic Center in Athens; the All-State Reading Chorus was held there in January.  The Cherokee County School Board and Superintendent of Schools will recognize the students and their teacher directors at an upcoming School Board meeting.
