Students Earn Science Research Challenge Honors

Congratulations to the winners of the Cherokee County School District’s middle school science research contest!

For the 8th Grade Science Review Royale Buzz Blitz, developed in partnership with the Georgia Tech Research Institute, students complete short, inquiry-based challenges by analyzing data, interpreting phenomena, and applying their science understanding.  Congratulations to the winners and their teachers!  Our School Board is laser focused on ensuring our students are learning more, growing more, and achieving more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else.

The winners are: from Creekland Middle School, first place, Masen Williams; second place, Molly Gibson and Ava Reece; third place, Edgar Arzate and Bryson Marrinson; from Freedom MS, first place, Rylynn Carney; second place, AJ Bello and Max Watson; and third place, Niesha Edwards and Ellie Veltri.
